What is lostblip

A radar for the ones
who almost met.

It is an old story. You may know it already: two strangers, each lost on their own journey, cross paths for a moment and feel a deep connection. But sometimes there simply isn't a chance to discover one another, or even to find a way to stay in touch. And they go home to mull over that encounter.

Today, shielded behind our headphones and screens, technology lulls us into a false sense of abundance: we believe a hundred thousand connections are just a click away, that there is no need to take a risk for a fleeting moment – that getting lost forever is no longer possible. So, we often let an authentic spark slip away. The doors close, we step onto the escalator, and we continue our orbit. The digital world might find us at night, scrolling through endless feeds, searching for something tangible.

lostblip steps outside this loop: it is an invitation to rediscover the colours of our journey, to value the distance that makes encounters precious. lostblip demands that we stay present, look up, and be there. And yet, for that one time when circumstances, the crowd, or the fast pace of the world cut it short – this radar is on.

lostblip is the cinema we have forgotten in our everyday lives – the suspended quiet of the hotel bar in Lost in Translation, the mind's rooms in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It is a space of care. It does not create artificial connections: it merely preserves the trace of a real emotion, until the radar catches the same trail, and the trajectories cross once more.
